Super cool design charette coming up!
Open Space Seattle 2100 seeks to develop a comprehensive open space
network vision for Seattle's next 100 years that will complement the
city's predicted growth and density, and to build the broad constituency
required to implement this vision.
I think this is modeled after the 100 year vision for Vancouver BC which
has had HUGE effects on teh spaping of that city's planning and
development. Several of us have been talking about forming a team (or
2! or 3!) to participate in this 2 day visioning session (FEB 3 and 4).
There should definitely be some city repair energy and vision in this
event.
_Registration deadline is January 20, 2006_, so lets get our act
together.
I know Mikel Lane is putting together a southend team and I'd love to be
in on one for the northend. Maybe we could even get a northeast and a
northwest team going. Who's in?
Lets make it happen--
Cheryl
